The SPS wishes to advise motorists of a planned protest walk this afternoon through the city.

Organizers of Walking With Our Angels are protesting "to demand action in regards to the suicide crisis across the province." Pedestrians and vehicles are expected to take part in the walk which began in northern Saskatchewan. The walk will begin in Saskatoon on July 17, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Highway 11 and Highway 12 junction. Members of the SPS will provide an escort as the walk continues down Idylwyld Drive to Avenue A, 19th Street West and the Sid Buckwold Bridge. The walk will then proceed to Circle Drive eastbound and south to Grasswood Road.

Motorists are advised to find alternate routes and expect delays as the group makes it's way through the city. Anyone wishing to gather to watch is advised to do so along Avenue A and 19th Street West.
