A 35 year old man and a 41 year old woman, both from Saskatoon are facing charges after a man was assaulted and threatened.

Police were called to the 2900 block of Preston Avenue South at approximately 2:15 p.m., July 16, 2020. They found that a 21 year old man had been assaulted. The male suspect had also pointed a handgun at the victim before fleeing in a GMC Sierra truck. The suspect was located driving the truck at approximately 4:00 p.m. in the 1500 block of Rayner Avenue. Police conducted a traffic stop and arrested the man and his female passenger. A search of the truck resulted in officers locating two stolen firearms. A box of ammunition was located in the female's purse. The 21 year old suffered minor physical injuries.

The 35 year old man is facing charges of Assault, Point Firearm and 14 firearm charges. He was also wanted on outstanding warrants from the RCMP. The woman is facing firearm related charges.
