A 35 year old woman is in custody after smashing two picture windows of a business located in the 100 block of Avenue F South.
On July 19, 2020 at approximately 8:20 p.m., Saskatoon Police received a call about a woman throwing rocks at the front picture windows of a business located in the 100 block of Avenue F South. Two window panes were damaged in the incident and the woman fled southbound from the store. Witnesses were able to provide a detailed description of the suspect, and with the assistance of passing citizens she was located in an alley.
Upon police arrival, she refused to stop for the officer and tried pulling and yanking her arms away. However, she was taken into custody without further incident and was found to be in possession of identification that was not her own, a quantity of methamphetamine, and was wanted on two Criminal Code warrants. She faces a total of four criminal charges and will appear in court in the morning.
