The Saskatoon Police Service Break & Enter Unit has charged two individuals for break & enters to multiple businesses in Northwest Division - North Industrial Business district of Saskatoon.
On July 9, 2020, at about 3:00 a.m., a thirty year old male and a thirty-six year old male were arrested by uniform patrol officers after being observed leaving the scene of a break and enter to a compound in the Northwest Industrial area. The males faced charges including failing to stop for police, operating a conveyance in a dangerous manner, break and enter, possession of stolen property, and possession of break and enter tools. Since their arrest, detectives in the Break and Enter Unit continued the investigation into their criminal activities. On July 21, 2020, both males were arrested for these investigations while in custody on remand.
The thirty year old male has been charged with an additional fifteen break and enter offences and the thirty-six year old male has been charged with an additional six break and enter offences. All of the break and enter incidents occurred to businesses or compounds in the North Industrial area between June 9, 2020 and July 8, 2020.
Both males appeared in court for these new charges on July 21, 2020.
