Saskatoon Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred shortly after midnight.

At approximately 12:15 a.m., July 23, 2020, a 32-year-old man was found to be suffering from stab wounds at a motel in the 600 block of Idylwyld Drive North. Police located a makeshift knife on a bed in a nearby room.

The victim was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The Serious Assault Unit is continuing to investigate.
