On August 3, 2020 at 8:50 am, Saskatoon Police attended to a hotel in the 800 block of Idylwyld Drive North for a male who had been stabbed in the chest. The male was transported to hospital by Medavie and is listed as being in stable condition. A suspect has been arrested and is in police custody. The suspect was also treated for minor injuries.

The investigation is continuing and further updates will be released once more information is available.
