A woman is facing charges after refusing to stop for Police last night.

At approximately 10:30 p.m., August 5, 2020, Patrol officers observed a vehicle operating without headlights or taillights at 33rd Street near Avenue F. Patrol officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop but the vehicle refused and was observed disobeying stop signs and travelling into oncoming traffic. The vehicle was last seen traveling down a back alley at a high rate of speed. It was located abandoned a few minutes later in the 1800 block of Avenue C North. A canine track successfully located the driver in the 1800 block of Avenue D North.

A 41-year-old woman was taken into custody and charged with Dangerous Driving and Evade Police. She was also arrested on several outstanding warrants. (Court Info # 991135668)
