Three people are facing drug trafficking-related charges following a vehicle stop yesterday.

At approximately 11:15 a.m., August 11, 2020, Police observed activity consistent with drug trafficking from a vehicle in the 1500 block of Avenue F North. A traffic stop was conducted at 33rd Street West and Avenue D North and a man and a woman were arrested from the vehicle. Multiple cell phones and a meth pipe were located inside, along with over $1000 CAD. One suspect was also found attempting to conceal methamphetamine.

At approximately 6:40 p.m., the Tactical Support Unit assisted in executing a search warrant at a residence in the 1500 block of Avenue F North. A man was arrested from the home where more methamphetamine was found, along with prepackaged fentanyl. Further evidence consistent with drug trafficking was located and seized.

A 53 year old man is charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of the Proceeds of Crime Under $5000.

A 33 year old woman is charged with Trafficking Methamphetamine, Possession of the Proceeds of Crime Under $5000 and Breach of Probation.

A 40 year old man is charged with Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking and Possession of the Proceeds of Crime Under $5000.
