Saskatoon Police are searching for two people following a robbery this morning.
At approximately 4:10 a.m., August 18, 2020, Patrol officers were dispatched to a robbery that had occurred at a convenience store in the 3700 block of Diefenbaker Drive. Upon arrival, Police were met by the complainant who was unharmed. It was reported that a lone male entered the store and demanded cash and cigarettes. No weapons were seen. Once the male took the items, he fled in a dark, four-door, older-model sedan, driven by a heavy-set female wearing a white tank top.
The male suspect is described as being 6’4” in height with thick, curly black hair and a beard. He was wearing a black t-shirt and grey track pants with blue shoes/sandals. A large scar was also seen on his forearm.
