Saskatoon Police are searching for a male suspect in connection to an assault that occurred last night.

At approximately 8:20 p.m., August 17, 2020, members of the Community Mobilization Unit responded to a report of a robbery. When officers arrived in the 2100 block of 22nd Street West, they located a 24 year old woman suffering from a stab wound. It was reported to Police that an unknown male approached the victim, assaulted her and fled on foot with her purse. The victim was treated by paramedics on scene and transported to hospital with what are believed to be minor injuries.
