A man is facing charges after it was reported to police that someone was seen running on the roof of a building along Idylwyld Drive carrying a weapon last night.

At approximately 11:45 p.m., August 19, 2020, Patrol officers responded to a report of a man running on the roof of a building in the 1100 block of Idylwyld Drive and carrying what was described as crowbar or pipe. Patrol officers located the man at the corner of 33rd Street and Idylwyld Drive North and found him to be in possession of a broom handle with a knife taped to it. While being taken into custody, officers found him to also be in possession of brass knuckles and fentanyl.

The 35-year-old man is charged with Possession of a Dangerous Weapon (x2), Possession of Prohibited Weapon, Unauthorized Possession of Prohibited Weapon, Carry Concealed Weapon, Possession of Fentanyl and Breach of Court Conditions. (Court Info #'s 991137039, 991137042).
