Scammers posing as Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) employees continue to contact Canadians, misleading them into paying false debt or CERB benefits. The Saskatoon Police Service Communications Centre has received a high number of complaints regarding these CRA phone calls and CERB benefits.The CRA will never demand payment by Interac, bitcoin, or prepaid gift cards. In addition, CRA will never use aggressive language or threaten you with arrest or send local police to your residence.

SPS want to remind citizens to be vigilant and not provide personal information to these individuals.
