A man is facing charges after he entered an establishment with a reported firearm early this morning.

At approximately 12:50 a.m., August 27, 2020, Patrol officers were dispatched to a report of a man with a firearm inside a restaurant in the 3700 block of Diefenbaker Drive. Prior to Police arrival, individuals inside of the establishment were able to take possession of the firearm and prevent the suspect from leaving. The firearm was later determined to be a BB gun.

A 27-year-old man was arrested and faces charges of Possession of a Dangerous Weapon and Carrying a Concealed Weapon.
