Members of the Saskatoon Integrated Crime Reduction Team (ICRT) have concluded a five week investigation into the cocaine trafficking activities of a 30 year old Saskatoon man.
On August 28, 2020 the 30 year old male was arrested outside of a hotel in the 3300 block of 8th Street East after being engaged in drug trafficking activity. The male was found to have approximately 334 grams of cocaine in the glove box of a vehicle.
Search Warrants were executed in a room at the hotel as well as a residence in the 400 block of Berini Drive. An additional 436 grams of cocaine was located, for a total of approximately 771 grams.
The 30 year old man is charged with Trafficking Cocaine and Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking.
ICRT is funded by the Government of Saskatchewan through the Ministry of Justice, Corrections and Policing. ICRT is an investigative body comprised of personnel from partner agencies from the Saskatoon Police Service and the RCMP ‘F’ Division.
