A man has been charged with mischief following an incident at a business yesterday.

At approximately 4:00 p.m., September 16, 2020, Patrol members were dispatched to a business in the 100 block of 2nd Avenue South. A man had entered the business and claimed to have an explosive device. Upon arrival, officers ensured that everyone had safely exited the building uninjured. The suspect was arrested without incident. The device was secured and found not to be a risk to public safety.

A 52 year old man was charged with Mischief Over $5000.
