Patrol officers with the Saskatoon Police Service attended the scene of a motor vehicle collision which occurred at the intersection of Lorne Avenue and 8th Street East this afternoon, September 21, at approximately 3:30 pm. Members arrived to find an injured 45-year-old female pedestrian who had been struck by a pickup truck.

The female pedestrian was transported to hospital by Medavie Health Services. At this time, her injuries are potentially life-threatening.

Members of the Saskatoon Police Service Collision Analyst Unit attended the scene and have since reopened the roadway. No charges have been laid at this time. This file remains under investigation by the CAU.
