Four people were arrested for weapons-related offences following a traffic stop last night.
At approximately 11:45 p.m., September 23, 2020, Patrol officers conducted a traffic stop in the 800 block of 22nd Street West. As officers approached the vehicle, a knife was seen in plain view in the centre console. Further investigation found a can of bear spray and a second knife hidden underneath the seats. The four occupants were arrested.
The driver, a 33-year-old woman, is charged with Possession of a Dangerous Weapon (x2). A 15-year-old boy is charged with Obstruction, Possession of a Dangerous Weapon (x2) and Breach of Court Conditions. A 29-year-old male and a 17-year-old female were each charged with Breach of Court Conditions.
