A Saskatoon man is in custody after refusing to stop for Police early this morning.
On September 25, 2020 at approximately 3:39 a.m., patrol members attempted a traffic stop, with a Pontiac G5, at Confederation Drive and Milton Street. The driver of the vehicle refused to stop and fled southbound on Confederation Drive. The SPS Air Support Unit (ASU) was able to acquire the vehicle, allowing the ground unit to disengage the pursuit. The ASU directed ground units to the location of the driver, where he was taken into police custody without further incident.
A 50 year old man is facing a charge of Flight From Police. The man was also found to have outstanding warrants for being Unlawfully at Large and for Breach of Statutory Release.
