Two people were arrested on Friday morning after they broke into an apartment building.
At approximately 6:30 a.m., September 25, 2020, it was reported to Police that two men were using a screwdriver to break into an apartment building in the 400 block of 5th Avenue North. When Police arrived, they located the two males and took them into custody. While doing so, a 49-year-old man was found to be in possession of a bicycle that was checked on the SPS Bike Registry and confirmed to be stolen.
The 49-year-old man is charged with Break and Enter, Possession of Break and Enter Instruments, Possession of Stolen Property Under $5000, and Breach of Court Conditions. He was also arrested on outstanding warrants.
A 25-year-old man is charged with Break and Enter and Possession of Break and Enter Instruments.
