A man is facing numerous charges after Police found him to be in possession of multiple weapons last night.
Shortly before 11:00 p.m., September 28, 2020, Patrol officers stopped a man for operating a bicycle on the sidewalk and without a light. The man attempted to provide a false name to officers and was subsequently arrested. Further investigation found him to be in possession of a CO2 BB handgun, brass knuckles, bear spray, methamphetamine and cocaine. He also had a backpack in which officers located a sawed off rifle, another can of bear spray, multiple cell phones and $355 in cash.
The 36-year-old is charged with Possession of a Dangerous Weapon (x5), Carrying a Concealed Weapon (x5), Possession of a Prohibited Weapon, Unauthorized Possession of Firearm, Possession of Prohibited Firearm with Ammunition, Tampering with Serial Number, Obstruction, and Possession of Methamphetamine and Cocaine. He was also arrested on outstanding warrant.
