Saskatoon Police have arrested and charged a man in connection to an arson.

On September 18, 2020, at approximately 5:15 a.m., a man entered a financial institution in the 200 block of 2nd Avenue South, where he attempted to light an ATM on fire.

At approximately 7:45 a.m., September 30, 2020, an arson investigator observed the man, who had previously been identified as the arson suspect. He was located at a convenience store in the 400 block of 3rd Avenue North. He was taken into custody without incident.

A 26 year old man is facing one charge of Arson.
