Patrol members arrested a man today, following reports of an injured person.

At approximately 1:00 p.m., October 7, 2020, Saskatoon Police were notified of an injured male near Avenue D North and 35th Street West. Upon arrival, a male victim was located suffering from a stab wound. Medavie Health Services transported the male to hospital with, what are believed to be, minor injuries. The 30 year old male suspect was subsequently arrested at a residence in the 1400 block of Avenue B North and charged with Assault with a Weapon.

The suspect and victim are believed to be known to each other. Further charges are pending as the investigation continues.
