A 23 year old man is facing charges following a report of a suspicious person in the 100 block of 107th Street East.

At approximately 12:30 p.m., October 6, 2020 Police were called to the area by a resident who noticed a suspicious male going through a backpack. Responding officers located a male matching the description a short distance away. A search of the backpack he was carrying resulted in Police locating an airsoft pistol, a variety of stolen packages and items thought to be stolen from vehicles.

The man is now facing charges of Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the Public Peace, Possession of Stolen Property Under $5000 (x2) and breach of court conditions. He is also facing a firearm related charge.
