At approximately 6:00 a.m., Saskatoon Police responded to a three-vehicle collision on Circle Drive north of the 108th Street exit. A south-bound vehicle rear-ended a pick-up truck, causing it to collide with a light pole, blocking northbound traffic. A north-bound semi-truck driver attempted to stop and avoid further collision, but the load of metal lengths became unsecured and came through the cab of the semi-truck upon stopping. No injuries were reported.
Both north and south-bound lanes of Circle Drive have been reduced to single lane traffic, as crews work to clear the scene.
The driver that rear-ended the truck was charged with Drive Without Reasonable Consideration For Others. The investigation is ongoing.
