Saskatoon Police are investigating an incident following a report of a house being shot.

At approximately 1:30 a.m., October 21, 2020, Police received a report that a group of people had shot at a home in the 1000 block of Weldon Avenue. Upon arrival, officers confirmed that a window of the residence had been shot. No one was injured. A Canine track was conducted and the area was searched by Patrol. An area resident reported to officers that a man with a machete was seen attempting to hide on their driveway. Police located the man behind a boat in the 900 block of Weldon Avenue. He was arrested without incident and found with a machete sheath on his person. The machete was located hidden nearby.

A 32-year-old man is charged with Carrying a Dangerous Weapon.
