Members of the Saskatoon Integrated Crime Reduction Team (ICRT) have concluded a four week investigation into the drug trafficking activities of a 20 year old Saskatoon woman.
October 21, 2020 a traffic stop was conducted on Highway 16 near Langham where the 20 year old female was taken into custody along with four other occupants including an 18 year old Saskatoon woman, a 25 year old Saskatoon woman, a 25 year old Toronto man and a 34 year old Edmonton man.
A loaded 9mm handgun was located in the vehicle along with approximately 244 grams of cocaine, $1,055.00 cash and seven cellular phones.
A Search Warrant was executed in the 600 block of Fast Crescent in Saskatoon with the assistance of the Tactical Support Unit where approximately 3 grams of fentanyl were located along with two digital scales and cutting agent.
The arrested persons are facing a total of 62 drug and firearm related offences collectively.
Assisting in the investigation were the SPS Technological Crimes Unit, the Special Investigations Unit, the Guns and Gangs Unit, NWEST and SPS Patrol.
ICRT is funded by the Government of Saskatchewan through the Ministry of Justice, Corrections and Policing. ICRT is an investigative body comprised of personnel from partner agencies from the Saskatoon Police Service and the RCMP ‘F’ Division.
