A man is facing charges after Police received reports of a suspected impaired driver on Saturday morning.

At approximately 3:20 a.m., October 24, 2020, SPS Communications received multiple reports of a black Dodge truck driving erratically and at high rates of speed. Patrol officers located the vehicle in the 300 block of McCormack Road but the driver made a southbound turn onto Arrand Crescent where it parked half in a driveway and half on the roadway. The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle was taken into custody without further incident for an impaired driving investigation. Police located several empty alcoholic beverage containers and a homemade spiked club in the vehicle.

The 22-year-old man is facing charges of Dangerous Driving, Impaired Driving, Refusal of Breath Demand, Possession of a Dangerous Weapon and breach of court order. (Court Info # 991143574)
