Traffic restrictions on Avenue W South between 20th Street West and 22nd Street West have been lifted. The Saskatoon Police Service wishes to thank the public for its assistance in avoiding the area while the collision scene was under investigation.
At this time, there are no further updates regarding the condition of the adult pedestrian who was taken to hospital.
Members of the Saskatoon Police Service are currently at the scene of a motor vehicle collision involving a single vehicle and an adult pedestrian on the 100 block of Avenue W South. A 52-year-old male was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Traffic is currently being re-routed in the area. Motorists are asked to avoid Avenue W South between 20th Street West and 22nd Street West while members of the Saskatoon Police Service Collision Analysis Unit are on-scene and conducting the investigation.
An update will be sent out once traffic restrictions are lifted.
