A woman is facing charges after refusing to stop for police early this morning.

At approximately 3:40 a.m., November 2, 2020, a canine officer attempted to stop a suspected stolen white Dodge Caravan in the area of 19th Street West and Avenue P South. The operator of the vehicle refused to stop and fled at high rates of speed. Stop sticks were successfully deployed and the vehicle stopped in the 500 block of Avenue U South. A female exited the vehicle and was taken into custody. Officers located a 10-year-old female passenger unharmed.

The 44-year-old female driver is charged with Dangerous Driving, Evade Police, Impaired Driving and Refusal. (Court Info # 991144403).
