A man and woman are facing charges following a traffic stop by the SPS Guns & Gangs Unit.
At approximately 5:00 p.m., October 30, 2020, members of the Guns & Gangs Unit conducted a traffic stop in a parking lot at 22nd Street and Witney Avenue on a vehicle as part of a firearms investigation. A male passenger in the backseat was found to be in possession of a sawed-off rifle that was loaded, a double-sided hatchet, and ammunition. A female passenger was found to be in possession of two cans of bear spray.
The 27-year-old woman is charged with Possession of Dangerous Weapon (x2) and Prohibited Possession of Weapon. (Court Info # 991144262)
