Collision investigators are no longer at the scene of a fatal vehicle/pedestrian collision that occurred this morning. Traffic restrictions have been lifted.

Members of the Collision Analyst Unit continue to investigate a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian that occurred this morning on Hanselman Avenue and 45th Street West.
The 20 year old male pedestrian was pronounced deceased in hospital. His next-of-kin have been notified. The 33 year old driver of the vehicle was assessed by Medavie Health Services.
Alcohol is not beleived to have been a factor in the collision.
Members of the Saskatoon Police Service are currently at the scene of a motor vehicle collision involving a single vehicle and an adult pedestrian at the intersection of Hansleman Avenue and 45th Street West. The pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Traffic is currently being re-routed in the area. Motorists are asked to avoid 45th Street West in the area of Hanselman Avenue and Thayer Avenue while patrol members and collision investigators are at the scene.
An update will be sent out once traffic restrictions are lifted.
