Police are investigating two robberies which occurred yesterday morning and are believed to be connected.
At approximately 6:35 a.m., November 12, 2020, officers were called to a gas station on Worobetz Place. The employee there reported that an unknown male had entered the store, motioned to the staff member that he had a weapon and demanded cash. He then fled the scene.
Then, at approximately 6:45 a.m., officers received a report of a second robbery taking place at a convenience store in the 3300 block of Fairlight Drive. An employee there reported a male threatening violence and demanding cash before fleeing the scene in a vehicle.
In both incidents, the suspect is described as 20-30 years of age, with short, reddish-blonde hair. He was wearing a black jacket with a red scarf covering his face. In the second incident he was seen fleeing in a blue, four door sedan.
No one was physically injured in the incidents.
