One man is in custody following an attempted robbery with a firearm, yesterday.
At approximately 9:45 a.m., December 1, 2020, Saskatoon Police were dispatched to an apartment building in the 100 block of 25th Street West. Initial reports stated that numerous people had entered a suite with a sawed-off shotgun and attempted to rob a tenant of their phone. The suspects were unsuccessful in their attempt and the victim was unharmed. The victim and suspects are believed to be known to each other.
Patrol officers arrested a suspect nearby without incident.
A 28-year-old man is charged with Robbery and Using a Firearm to Commit Robbery.
