One man was arrested yesterday following a collision.

At approximately 4:45 p.m., December 2, 2020, Saskatoon Police were dispatched to the 200 block of Avenue S South for a report of a collision. Upon arrival, officers located a white, 2006 Pontiac Torrent, that had been reported stolen hours earlier, in the front yard of a residence. It had crashed through a fence and was heavily damaged. Police observed a man exit the vehicle. He was believed to be under the influence of an intoxicant and was taken into custody after a brief altercation.

A 23-year-old Saskatoon man is charged with Theft of Motor Vehicle. He was also found to have numerous outstanding warrants.

The investigation is ongoing.
