Four people are facing over 50 charges following a vehicle stop early this morning.
At approximately 2:20 a.m., December 7, 2020, Patrol officers observed a suspicious vehicle in the area of Stanley Place and Idylwyld Drive. A member of patrol recognized one of the passengers as having an outstanding warrant for their arrest. As officers were taking the 24-year-old man into custody, they found him to be in possession of a firearm. As a result, all vehicle occupants were arrested. Police located an additional firearm, ammunition, and two machetes inside the vehicle.
Upon arrival at detention, the 40-year-old man was found to be in possession of fentanyl, methamphetamine, and crack cocaine.
Two men, ages 24 and 40, and two women, ages 21 and 32, are facing a combined total of 54 charges.
