A Saskatoon man is facing a dozen charges following a suspicious vehicle call last night.
At approximately 10:35 p.m., December 8, 2020, Patrol officers were dispatched to Airport Drive and Claypool Drive for a reported suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival, Police located a man sleeping behind the wheel of a stolen, white Ford F-150, parked on the road. The licence plate on the truck was found to be stolen as well, from a different vehicle. The male driver and lone occupant of the truck was arrested without incident. Officers located methamphetamine, GHB and a knife inside the truck. A backpack containing ID documents belonging to others, multiple vehicle registrations and keys, was also located.
A 28-year-old man is charged with Possession of Stolen Property Over $5000, Possession of Stolen Property Under $5000 (x3), Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of GHB, Possession of Dangerous Weapon, Carry a Concealed Weapon, Possession of Identity Documents Relating to Another Person (x2) and Breach of Release (x2).
