The Saskatoon Police Service Drug Unit has concluded an investigation into drug trafficking.
On November 20, 2020, a 21-year-old Saskatoon man was arrested at his home in the 200 block of Stillwater Drive. A 24-year-old woman and a second, 21-year-old man were also arrested at the residence. A search of the home resulted in investigators locating:
- Hydraulic press used to press cocaine
- SKS assault style semi-automatic rifle with ammunition and loaded magazines
- 1.1kg soft cocaine
- 87g hard cocaine
- 2500 Xanax tablets
- 500 Percocet tablets
- 351g MDMA
- 158g psilocybin
- 3 packages of LSD blotter paper
- $5795 CAD
- Thousands of illicit cannabis resin packages
- Scales, cell phones and packaging consistent with drug trafficking
A 21-year-old man and 24-year-old woman, both from Saskatoon, are facing 25 charges including multiple drug-trafficking related charges and weapons-related offences.
The second 21-year-old man is charged with Possession of the Proceeds of Crime Under $5000 and Possession of Cocaine.
