One man was arrested this morning following a traffic stop involving a firearm.

At approximately 4:30 a.m., December 9, 2020, Patrol officers observed a suspicious 2002, grey Honda Civic in the 800 block of Kingsmere Boulevard. A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 block of Crean Crescent. When officers approached the car, a sawed-off shotgun was observed on the front passenger’s seat. The male driver and lone occupant of the vehicle was arrested without incident.

A 19-year-old Saskatoon man is facing six firearm-related offences.
