A Saskatoon man was arrested last night after refusing to stop for Police.

At approximately 12:30 a.m., December 10, 2020, A Canine Unit observed a stolen grey, 2017 Dodge Ram 1500 at Avenue W South and 18th Street West. Officers observed the truck collide with a taxi-cab and continue driving. A traffic stop was attempted but the driver refused to stop for Police. Members of the Air Support Unit (ASU) located the truck abandoned in an alley near the 1800 block of Avenue F North. Patrol and Canine Units, with the assistance of ASU, located and arrested the suspect at a residence in the 1600 block of Avenue B North.

A 19-year-old Saskatoon man is charged with Evade Police, Dangerous Driving and Possession of Stolen Property Over $5000.
