A 20 year old Saskatoon woman is in custody following an investigation by members of the SPS Drug Unit into methamphetamine trafficking.
After witnessing activity consistent with drug transactions, investigators executed a search warrant at an apartment in the 400 block Avenue P South on February 7, 2020 at approximately 6:30 p.m. They were assisted by members of the Tactical Support Unit because it was thought there were firearms inside the home.
Once inside investigators located four people, 147 grams of methamphetamine, 4.5 grams of MDMA, $330 cash, three rifles – two of them sawed-off and one loaded, a sawed-off 12 gauge shotgun, 2 cans of bear spray, two swords, 17 knives and drug paraphernalia.
The 20 year old woman is facing charges of Trafficking Methamphetamine, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Methamphetamine, Trafficking MDMA, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking MDMA, Possession of the Proceeds of Crime, and 17 firearm and weapons offences.
