A man and a woman are facing charges following an investigation by the SPS Child Abuse Unit.

At approximately 12:30 p.m., December 7, 2020, Police received a report of a young boy on the roof of a home in the 600 block of Lenore Drive. When Police arrived, others had gotten him down safely. Further investigation by Patrol officers found another boy confined to a bedroom in the home.

The file was investigated by the SPS Child Abuse Unit and as a result, a man and a woman were arrested from their residence in the 600 block of Lenore Drive without incident on December 10, 2020.

The 36-year-old woman is charged with; Assault with a Weapon (x3), Fail to provide Necessities of Life (x2), Criminal Negligence Causing Bodily Harm (x2), and Forcible Confinement (x2). (Court Info # 991148431). The 28-year-old man is also charged with Assault with a Weapon and Assault. (Court Info #991148432).

The victims are two boys, ages 4 and 7, and a 10-year-old girl.
