Update: Collision - Circle Dr. And Taylor St. E

Traffic restrictions have been lifted and traffic is once again flowing smoothly. The Saskatoon Police Service would like to thank the public for their patience during the closure.

A 48 year old man from Watrous Sk. has been charged with Impaired Driving following an investigation by Saskatoon Police Patrol and members of the Collision Analyst Unit in to a collision that occurred shortly before 8:30 p.m. on Circle Drive at Taylor St. E.

A northbound car on Circle Drive rear ended another car before colliding with a pickup truck that was also northbound on the on ramp from Taylor St. The force of the collision caused both cars to roll onto their roofs and one to end up in the south bound lanes.

The 17 year old female driver of the car that was rear ended was treated at the scene and released. The 45 year old male driver of the pickup was not injured.

The 48 year old male was transported to RUH by ambulance with non life threatening injuries. He has been released from custody to appear in court at a future date. More charges are pending.

Saskatoon Police are currently responding to a multi vehicle collision on Circle Dr. at Taylor St. E that was reported shortly before 8:30 p.m.

Traffic is currently closed in both  the north- and south-bound lanes of Circle Drive  at Taylor St. E and is being rerouted. Traffic is being asked to avoid the area at this time. 

The extent of injuries at this time is not known.
