The man arrested in connection with Friday's homicide investigation is 31 years of age, not 21 as previously mentioned.

The SPS Major Crime Section is continuing with an investigation into Saskatoon's 3rd homicide of 2021.
A 23 year old Saskatoon man has died as a result of injuries received in the incident that took place late Friday afternoon in the 1400 block of 20th St W. A 21 year old man has been arrested and will be facing charges of 2nd degree murder.
Police are not looking for any other suspects and there is no risk to the public.
The victim’s identity is not being released at this time.

Just after 5:30 PM this evening ( Friday, March 5) police were called to the 1400 block of 20th Street. Reports had been received indicating that a male had been stabbed. Upon arriving officers discovered an adult male suffering from life-threatening injuries. Patrol officers as well as detectives from the Forensic Identification Section and the Major Crime Section are on scene.. Officers are interviewing a number of people and the investigation is ongoing. More information will released when details are available.
