A 42-year-old woman and a 34-year-old man were taken to the hospital after being assaulted with a knife at a home in the 100 block of Carleton Dr this evening.

At approximately 7:45 p.m. on March 6, 2021, police were called to a home where it was reported that a man had assaulted two people with a knife. The male suspect then fled the scene. Both victims are reported to have serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The victims and the suspect are known to each other.

Police were provided with the name and a description of the suspect; he was arrested a short distance from the home. The 21-year-old male has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault.
