On March 7, 2021, at 11:00a.m., the Saskatoon Police Service received a call to the 1900blk Hanover Ave of a male that had been stabbed.

Patrol officers arrived and located a 40 year old male suffering from several stab wounds which were serious but non-life threatening. He was transported to the hospital by Medavie Health Services.

Officers were able to locate the 26 year old suspect nearby and take him into custody without incident. He is facing charges of aggravated assault, break and enter and will be appearing before a Justice of the Peace this evening.

Both the victim and the suspect are known to each other.
