Two Saskatoon men were arrested Tuesday night following a drug-trafficking investigation.
Police became aware of methamphetamine trafficking activity on January 5, 2020. Activities consistent with drug trafficking were observed throughout the city, as well as at the suspect’s residence in the 1600 block of Avenue B North. At 11:10 p.m., January 5, 2021, the Tactical Support Unit assisted with the execution of a search warrant at the house on Ave. B N, where two men were taken into custody. A search of the residence resulted in officers locating a sawed-off rifle and ammunition.
A 35-year-old man is facing 10 firearms-related offences as well as Breach of Conditions (x4).
A 43-year-old man is also charged with Breach of Conditions.
Further charges are pending as the investigation continues.
