One man is facing numerous firearms-related charges following an armed robbery on Saturday.

At approximately 2:10 p.m., March 27, 2020, Patrol officers were dispatched to a home in the 500 block of Avenue H North for a reported armed robbery. Police learned that two individuals, who are known to the victims, arrived at the residence demanding property. One suspect is reported to have threatened the victims with a handgun prior to stealing items and fleeing. No one was injured.

At approximately 4:00 p.m., members from Patrol and the Tactical Support Unit attended to a residence in the 300 block of Avenue T South and arrested a male suspect without incident. Police located two imitation firearms on his person.

A 39-year-old Saskatoon man is charged with Uttering Threats to Cause Death and nine firearms-related offences including Robbery With a Firearm.
