Investigators with the Major Crime Section are investigating the death of a man involved in a house fire today.

At approximately 7:00 a.m., April 7, 2021, Saskatoon Police were dispatched to a house fire in the 400 block of Avenue T South. Members of the Saskatoon Fire Department recovered a deceased male from inside the residence. No other occupants were located. An autopsy has been ordered for the 40-year-old male victim and next of kin have been notified. No foul play is suspected at this time.
