On January 3, 2021 at 2:05p.m., Saskatoon Police located a vehicle that had been reported stolen.

Patrol officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on Ave T and 20th St at which point the driver of the vehicle failed to stop for police. A tire deflation device was successfully utilized by officers in two separate locations. Patrol officers disengaged while the SPS Air Support Unit monitored the vehicle. The vehicle eventually stopped in the 1000blk Ave B N and the driver attempted to flee.

Patrol officers were directed to the location of the driver and he was taken into custody without incident.

The driver, a 24 year old male is charged with theft of motor vehicle and dangerous driving. He will remain in custody until being brought before a Judge tomorrow morning.
