Two people were arrested this morning after refusing to stop for Police.
At approximately 4:50 a.m., April 20, 2021, Police observed a blue Dodge Ram travelling at a high rate of speed eastbound in the 800 block of 33rd Street West. A traffic stop was attempted, however, the driver of the vehicle refused to stop and fled from Police. Officers quickly located the vehicle abandoned in the 500 block of Ave O South. The SPS Canine Unit was deployed and a male and female were taken into custody without further incident. Upon arrest, Police located ammunition and brass knuckles.
An 18-year-old Kindersley male is facing charges of: Flight from Police, Dangerous Operation of Motor Vehicle, and charges relating to Firearm and Driving Prohibitions.
A 17-year-old Saskatoon female is facing charges of: Possession of Dangerous Weapon, Carry Concealed Weapon, Breach of Court conditions, and was found to have outstanding warrants.
